A. Terpenes (pronounced: tur-peenz) are a large, diverse class of strong, yet pleasant-smelling, organic compounds. Terpenes (aka: Terps) are found in the essential oils and resins of various plants and fruits. Terpenes are responsible for their flavor, scent, and colors. For example a terpene called Limonene is found in the rind of citrus fruits. One of the benefits of Limonene is it's cancer-fighting properties. Each terpene is unique and has health giving properties and benefits.
A. Because Terps are derived from nature, adding them to get desired effects and flavor is a great idea. They may serve as an excellent way to boost the immune system and strengthen the body, without extra additives or chemicals that may cause unwanted side effects. Some of the amazing health giving benefits include Anti-depressant, anticancer, anti-inflammation, antiviral, antibacterial, anti-fungal, increased appetite, energy booster, arthritis relief, appetite suppressant, anti-asthma, disinfectant, and sedative. Those are just a few of the health giving benefits of terpenes. That's why we are so excited to share these products with you!
A. Terpenes are aromatic oils produced by plants. They are often used in vape mixes, added to edibles, for e-pens and e-cigerettes, directly on flower, dabbing, diffusers, vaporizers... They are like an immune system for the plants, to help protect them from invaders including bacteria, viruses, insects, and environmental stress. Terpenes can be used for cleaning as well, which is why we offer natural cleaning products. Some jobs can get pretty sticky, so why not use terpenes instead of chemical cleaners. Due to their pleasant scent and flavors, terpenes are also used in the scent industries, as flavoring agents for foods and drinks, and for their restorative and health giving properties.
A. No, our terpenes are not acquired from cannabis plants, and do not contain THC. Because of cost, they are obtained from other plant sources including: oranges, lemons, mangos, eucalyptus, peppermint, etc.....But, all the terpenes we carry are also found naturally in cannabis plants. Terpenes are the oils in the buds that give it flavor, scent and desired effects. Adding more terps enhances these attributes.
A. Yes, terpenes can be combined and mixed with other terpenes to create a customized blend. For example, our Fusions can be added to Strains for combination flavors and effects. However, use terpenes with extreme caution. Due to their high concentration, it is necessary to dilute them properly so they can be safely enjoyed.
A. Try making sure you use glass bottles, glassware, and glass transfer pipettes and funnels. Plastic is not recommended because it may leach chemicals into products. Because terpenes are highly concentrated, mix 1% - 5% terpenes into your desired carrier when needed. Use good practices and enjoy!
A. Yes, the terpenes are organic by nature. They contain no additives and are considered a natural process that plants and fruits undergo. Following extraction, a terpene is no longer considered, "agricultural" and are not considered Certified USDA organic.
A. They have an influence on neurotransmitters and receptors. They improve norepinephrine activity, they raise dopamine levels, allows more serotonin to be absorbed by nerves, and they boost gaba levels. Terpenes have a unique ability to interact synergistically and bind to cannabinoid receptors in the brain.
A. Terpenes are highly concentrated and should be used with caution. Even though they are derived from a variety of natural plants and fruits, they should not be eaten or drank in full concentration. Sometimes, they are used to flavor foods. However, it is extremely important to fully dilute them. We suggest this process be done only by trained professionals.
A. Currently, our most popular terpenes product is Myrcene, which is found under our Aromas collection. Some of the main benefits of Myrcene includes it's Cancer Fighting, pain reducing, anti-inflammatory, and the sedative like effect it provides Myrcene is considered a monoterpene and serves as a precursor for the manufacture and formation of other terpenes.
A. We actually don't call our products fertilizers, rather we refer to them as plant nutrition. There are many cannabis fertilizer products available today. For example: composts, wood ashes, miracle grow...to name a few. Our approach to growing is very different, because we use a microbial BioMass to create a very thriving environment in the soil for the maximum growth and health of the plant. You will not find any other products like this anywhere.
A. Microbes are the "bugs" in the soil. There are good microbes and bad microbes. The good microbes are the workhorse in the soil and attach to the roots and bring nutrition to the plant. This makes for a very healthy and thriving plant. All other traditional fertilizers just try to supply the plant with different elements, rather than address the health of the plant and roots.
A. All microbe products for cannabis growing are very similar. They are typically around 5% microbe spores put into a bottle of water. We on the other hand, take microbe spores and put them and other ingredients into a bio-generator to make a BioMass. Now your looking at 20+ percent microbes. This is why the performance and overall results from using our plant nutrition products are second to none. We also carry a product called Klean-Cure that is all organic and eliminates insects, pests and diseases.
A. No, they are actually very inexpensive considering what you are getting. Most growing strategies require multiple products to be purchased and from multiple companies. Our products are stand alone, and have all the necessary ingredients in one bottle and from one place. And because our products help your plants resist all problems, there is no added expense, stress, and plant loss involved. Nice, right?
A. Not at the moment, but we are open to inquiries.
